Good News for Xiaomi Fans as the long wait is almost over. MIUI users who are desperately waiting for next major update of MIUI which will take them to the World of Android Nougat 7.0 from the current Android Marshmallow 6.0, are getting the next MIUI 9 Android skin update for their MI Smartphones. This new and latest version will start rolling out by late this month or the first couple of weeks in August.
A new report claims, Xiaomi already formed MIUI 9 through a closed beta testing program where only selected testers and developers could examine the MI Android skin. These beta testings are done just before rolling out any MIUI update by the beta testers and developers to ensure that the UI remains bug-free, smooth and powerful. Hence, the Xiaomi users can now enjoy the latest MIUI skin freely without any hassle. The MIUI 9 update will bring about some awesome features such as a new UI, picture-in-picture mode, split screen, RAM optimization, optimized doze mode etc.
Xiaomi recently revealed the names of devices that will fall under this update. The Chinese handset maker listed 14 of its smartphones that will get Android Nougat.
